My Mission

At Queens Of the City, the mission is deeply personal and rooted in a transformative experience. Our founder Temi Adesola Adigun, once faced a pivotal moment in life where she was on the brink of entering the adult entertainment industry. However, through personal resilience and the guidance of faith, Temi was able to turn their life around, avoiding a path that could have led to long-term or permanent consequences.

This life-changing experience ignited a passion to help others who find themselves in similar situations or prevent it from ever being an option. Our CIC was founded with the core belief that everyone deserves the chance to make positive choices and achieve their fullest potential, regardless of their past circumstances. Our work is grounded in compassion, understanding, and the belief that everyone can change their story.

By sharing her experiences and offering the resources and support that others need, she hopes to create a ripple effect of change-transforming lives, restoring dignity, and providing individuals with the tools to build a brighter future.

My Approach

As a qualified teacher, skilled nail technician and educator, trauma informed mentor with lived experience and an actress, Temi has spent years mentoring women and girls who have faced adversity, equipping them with tools to heal, grow, and thrive. She now uses what she‘s learnt to pass on purpose through various skills.

She is committed to preventing sexual exploitation and risks of grooming, promoting mental resilience, support and education to individuals at risk of making life-altering decisions, offering them alternatives and empowering them to break free from cycles that can be difficult to escape from.

Through workshops, community outreach, access to opportunities and tailored guidance, she aims to prevent others from walking the same path of hardship and to help those who are struggling find hope, healing, and a new direction.

Temi aims to empower marginalised voices beginning in our founders hometown of Tottenham, North London, and reaching far beyond by establishing partnerships with local authorities, schools, and churches to deliver both faith based and non-faith faced workshops and trauma informed mentoring, with a focus on prevention, awareness, and recovery from sexual exploitation and trauma.
